Indoor water fountains and good feng shui

You may believe it or not but most people think having indoor water fountains in their homes bring good fortune. Says who? - Feng Shui!

Originating from the Ancient Chinese system of aesthetics, feng shui unites the laws of Heaven and Earth (astronomy and geography) in order to help individuals attract positive energy flow known as "qi". Encompassing the five Earth elements namely fire, wood, water, earth, and metal, feng shui has been considered to be true and accurate by many people for a long long time now.

In relation to this belief, indoor water fountains are thought to be one of those products that bring utter luck because of its water energy - the element that symbolizes abundance and prosperity.

Since the water that fountains carry is flowing, the active qi - also known as energy flow - and nature's creative force is said to encourage teemingness. However, for those who are already considering of getting a water fountain in their homes, there is one thing though that you should remember aside from the fountain's location (whether they're on the north, south, east, or west side of your house). To ensure positive energy streaming in your homes, it is important that your fountain is running 24 hours a day - meaning you do not turn it off - to prevent the water from being stagnant. That is why most feng shui experts suggest to close the toilet lids and bathroom doors to prevent the stagnant water from these areas from negatively influencing the feng shui in your home.

There is indeed more to indoor water fountains than being center pieces in corporations and homes. From decorations, they transcend as one's inspiration to work hard and persevere for an abundant and prosperous life.
